It's one of the go-to mics for live shows for a reason and Shure is a Microphone company that has always made killer stuff.Įven if you upgrade to a higher end mic down the road somewhere you keep the SM58 in a drawer somewhere and you'll have a solid backup the rest of your life and your children's lives heh. Anyone that owns mics of any kind should own an SM58 and it'll last them forever and sound great the whole time. The thing about the SM58 that no one is telling you is that it's a freaking workhorse.
