It seems that recently a lot of anime series are being censored for their explicit content or scenes.
I don't understand on why it was changed, knowing it was by a new studio. I am writing this to inform the producers that is making Season 4 for High School DxD to change back to the original styles (Mainly for Akeno and Rias Gremory) because changing up this late in the story seems bland and a slap to the fans face for their favorite characters. Censored Sub Censored Dub Uncut Sub Uncut Dub High School DxD (Season 1) BD/DVD, Funimation, Animelab, Crunchyroll, VRV, iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Playstation Store. This is pretty much the only show I'm currently watching on Hulu.
Seasons 1-3 are not censored, so I'm not sure the issue with season 4. The current High School DxD season 4 is censored with annoying adds and light bars. The anime series features questionable scenes there were deemed to be censored by the distributors of the series outside Japan. For those who are not familiar with High School DxD, this anime series revolves around gratuitous fan service and supernatural adventures of a boy named Issei Hyodo. However, there is, of course, a reason the series is censored. But, if you’re reading this, you probably know all this. High School DxD is a Japanese light novel, manga and anime series which has become one of the most popular anime series in the past few years.
